Where did you grow up and what did you love best about that part of the world?

I grew up on a small island off the coast of Townsville - Magnetic Island. 

What other sports do you enjoy watching/playing?

I am a big fan of watching almost all professional sports, but love watching the Matildas and the Brisbane Lions AFLW team.

What do you love about the Suzuki brand?

My favourite thing about Suzuki is the fact that they have a vehicle for everybody, they love adventure, but have an amazing family feel at the same time.

When you're not 'at work' what do you like to do to unwind?

When I’m not at work, you can find me either studying or spending time with my golden retriever, Lola.

Suzuki Queensland (cars) has been around since 1974. What were you doing in 1974...?

Ummm, I wasn’t even a thought for my parents 'way back' in good old 1974!

What would you regard as your biggest personal or professional achievement?

Participating in and winning gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2023 Netball World Cup.

If you weren't a professional sportsperson, what type of work would you be doing?

I have a university degree in Forensic Science and am working on getting my masters in Imaging so if I wasn’t playing sport, I hope I would be doing something in those fields.

What Suzuki model are you currently driving and how does it fit into your lifestyle?

I am currently driving a Suzuki Jimny XL. This car has fit perfectly into my lifestyle as it’s compact, agile, and has heaps of room for everything I need - plus plenty of extra leg room.

Are you a good cook, and if so, what's your 'go-to' meal?

I have mastered a few good meals, but my claim to fame is my ability to cook roast pork!

What's your favourite destination in Australia to holiday in?

Other than visiting my family on Magnetic Island, I love spending time in Melbourne.

At what age did you start playing netball, and at which club?

I started playing netball at 12 years old, for Magnetic Island Primary School.

What's one line of advice to young Aussie netballers?

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.
