Ty, the guy behind OffRoadChef, has been in the cheffing industry for over 13 years and loves nothing more than camping and cooking over open fire. He doesn’t have an official nickhame from his Jimny, but he always calls it his “little mountain goat” since it can go just about anywhere! His most memorable trip was his first camping adventure with his Jimny and his cousins at Boyne Island, where the weekend was filled with great vibes and an amazing cook-up that still makes his mouth water. While he’s proud of his own rig, he thinks the little rig is the most drool-worthy – a lil weapon! A drive through the Victoria High Country and the top end is high on his bucket list. But if you’re looking for a local off-road recommendation, Ty suggests Kinkuna National Park near Bundaberg. The drive in is a lot of fun with some big bog holes and fun beach tracks, and you can’t go wrong with the campsites along the beach (they’re all great!), awesome fishing, and swimming in the creeks.
Let’s make it official. Chuck in your deets and join the tribe to get first access to awesome Jimny offers, free stuff, discounts, merch and more. You’ll be in with a grin.
