Derek (jacko_the_zook) works as a physio, travelling around Australia to rural locations, and enjoys exploring these areas in his Jimny, which he has nicknamed “Jacko The Zook.” In his spare time, Dez enjoys surfing, going to the gym, hiking, practicing martial arts, and going on food adventures. One of his most memorable experiences with his Jimny was crossing the Nullarbor and exploring the beautiful white beaches of Esperance.

Dez is particularly drawn to the impressive overseas Jimny builds like @yodathejimny and @iron_bison_jb74. Closer to home, he admires the Ute-chopped Jimnys of @the_little_rig, @bustalime_jimny, and @toyzuki_4x4.

The Old Telegraph Track on his way to the tip of Cape York is on his bucket list.

For an off-road recco, Dez suggests driving on 75 Mile Beach at K’gari. It’s a stunning beach where you can drive for miles, with beautiful scenery and plenty to see and do, making it a highlight of any trip.
