A charity lottery, a $20 ticket, and a Queensland nurse who won a brand new Jimny.
We recently partnered with LifeFlight, Queensland's emergency aeromedical service, to support their very first car lottery. LifeFlight responds to an emergency on average every 59 minutes — and funds from this campaign will go directly towards a new visitor experience and education centre in Toowoomba. The prize? A brand-new Suzuki Jimny XL.
The winner was Bernadette, a nurse from Ipswich who bought a single $20 ticket, just two days before the draw closed. "No way… this is the best news ever!" was her immediate response…
She entered because her two kids are learning to drive and she knew a car was on the horizon. She's a school nurse by week, and works through a nursing agency on weekends. A pretty special person to hand the Jimny keys to.
